Our restaurant is located in village of "Sotunki", about 20 minutes from the centre of Helsinki as well as from Helsinki airport, in peaceful and idyllic rural surroundings.

The lovingly renovated restaurant Nygårds is one of the oldest buildings in the village of Sotunki. The restaurant serves delicious meals in an environment rich in atmosphere. Sotunki has been listed as a cultural area of national significance by the National Board of Antiquities. The village itself dates back to the 14th century, but the beautifully preserved buildings reflect architectural trends of the 18th and 19th centuries.

Restaurant Nygårds is specialised in tailor-made occasions and is open by arrangement.

Detailed planning, skilled and flexible service as well as the beautiful surroundings, rich in atmosphere, create a wonderful setting for your special occasion.

Our staff are very experienced in organizing international weddings. Supposing you don't live in Finland but still desire to celebrate your wedding here? Our all-inclusive wedding package will be tailored to your wishes. The pre-wedding meeting can be arranged by telephone so that you won't have to travel all the way than just before the wedding. We take into consideration special expectations related to nationality and religion when it comes to catering and service.

Facilities
Capacity: restaurant with seating for 100 guests; converted cowshed suitable for meetings, courses and all kinds of parties for 70 guests; summer terrace for 60 guests; barn for dancing and special occasions for 100 guests.

Our newly renovated traditional Finnish sauna is at your disposal.

For groups we can also order bus transportations from/to Helsinki International Airport or your hotel(s) at Helsinki.

Cuisine
Traditional delicacies are made of natural foodstuffs. You can choose between different buffet alternatives depending on your special occasion.
